keep your head level. Sit at arms length from screen. make a gun with a hand, thumb touching the tip of your nose & index finger pointing at the center of the screen. Focus on the tip of your finger not the screen.(Is your head still level?) You may need to move foward or back slightly for the images to overlap.You will end up with three images, the middle one being 3D.
